Allen Dell, P.A. enjoys a diverse civil practice and offers clients representation in virtually every aspect of the law. From our conveniently located Tampa office, members of the firm represent clients before state and federal courts and numerous administrative agencies throughout the State of Florida. The firm’s attorneys include Board Certified specialists in the areas of Family Law (divorce, dissolution of marriage, child custody, paternity), Healthcare Law and City, County and Local Government Law.
The firm traces its roots in Tampa to John B. Sutton (after whom Port Sutton is named) and the early firm of Kelly, Sutton & Shaw, founded circa 1925. The long and storied history of the firm since that time reflects the evolution of the legal profession in Tampa and west central Florida, in which the firm has played, and continues to play, a prominent role. What has not changed in over three quarters of a century is this firm's steadfast commitment to the practice of law as a profession -- a calling that requires not merely the highest levels of knowledge, skill and competence, but which demands also the highest level of professionalism in our dealings with our clients, our adversaries, our judiciary and our community.
Allen Dell, P.A. also prides itself on its ability to offer clients stability and continuity of legal representation. Because the firm emphasizes not only competence, but character, in the selection of attorneys, we enjoy an extremely low rate of turnover among our professional members. Many of our attorneys have been with the firm for more than ten, fifteen or even twenty years; some have been with us for their entire professional careers. That continuity carries over to our relationships with our clients, some of whom have been clients of the firm for more than a quarter of a century.
