Amy D. Singer is a native of Tampa, Florida. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (B.A. 1995) and of Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 2000), where she was national champion member of the Moot Court Board and the recipient of the Suzanne Armstrong Memorial Award. She was admitted to practice in Florida in 2000.
At Allen Dell, P.A., Ms. Singer concentrates her practice in domestic relations/family law matters including dissolution of marriage litigation, child custody, support, modification, paternity and domestic violence. Ms. Singer has been practicing since 2000 and had approximately nine years of experience in the areas of marital and family law as a legal assistant and paralegal before being admitted to practice.
Ms. Singer is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, helping families mediate their domestic relations/family law, issues without litigation when possible.
Ms. Singer has served on the Executive Board of the Tampa Bay Family Law Inn of Court since 2001 and has been a member since 2000. She has been a member of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers since 2000 and has been an Officer and Board Member since 2002 (Co-editor Newsletter (2002-04)), Vice-President (2004-05), President Elect (2005-06), President (2006-07), and Board Member At Large (2007-present)). She is a member, in good standing, of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Ms. Singer has appeared as a speaker or moderator at various legal education courses for paralegals and the public.
Ms. Singer is the recipient of the HAVE-a-Heart Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award for pro bono service to the community (2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008).
Outside of the legal practice Ms. Singer devotes her time and energy to her husband, her daughter, and their dogs, Noel and Beethoven.
