Aaron J. Gold was born on February 13, 1951 in New York, New York. He attended the City College of New York, receiving a BA, cum laude in 1972, and Washington University in St. Louis where he received a JD in 1975.
Mr. Gold practiced in New York City from 1975 to 1977. In 1977 Mr. Gold moved to the Tampa Bay Area and practiced with a local firm until 1982 when he started his own firm, Gold & Resnick, P.A., eventually known as Gold, Resnick & Ficarrotta, P.A., where he was until 2007 when he moved to Allen Dell, P.A.
Mr. Gold concentrates his practice in the representation of businesses, corporations, physician practices, probate and sophisticated estate planning. He has handled many substantial corporate matters and estates.
Mr. Gold has received the Morris Raphael Cohen Award, the American Jurisprudence Award, and was Editor-in-Chief of The Advocate, a Washington University publication from 1973-1974 and has been an adjunct professor of Business Law at Eckerd College. Mr. Gold had also served on the Probate Rules Committee of the Florida Bar. Mr. Gold is a Member of the Florida Bar and of the American Bar Association, and is rated (AV) by The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
