Benjamin G. Morris received both his undergraduate (B.A. 1962) and law degree (J.D. 1966) from the University of Kansas. Prior to attending law school he was the administrative director of a political training center for Latin American democratic political leaders and subsequently served as administrative director of an economic advisory group to the Government of the Dominican Republic. While he was a law student he was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives where he served from 1964-66.

Mr. Morris served as Director of Activities to The Missouri Bar following his graduation from law school and from 1967 through 1969 served as Assistant Dean of the University of Kansas School of Law. He was a senior officer of a multi-bank holding company for ten years where he handled legal matters and supervised the merger and acquisition ventures of the company.

Mr. Morris is admitted to practice in Kansas (1966), Missouri (1967) and Florida (1972). He practices primarily in the areas of Trust, Estate and Guardianship and Business Law. He is one of the attorneys in the firm that is involved in the representation of Aviation authority clients. During the last five years he has drafted many of the major construction contracts for those clients. Mr. Morris was a regular lecturer at the Airport Council-NA legal conferences for several years in areas such as competitive bidding, federal relocation assistance programs, the creation and use of concession improvement trusts at public airports.
