Dave Forziano was admitted to practice in Florida 1994 and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2004). He is a graduate of Florida southern College, (B.S. 1990) and of Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 1993). He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, as well as the Administrative Law and Environmental and Land-Use Law sections of the Florida Bar Association.

Mr. Forziano concentrates his practice in the areas of construction, environmental, land use, water law, and related litigation. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including large publicly held clients such as IMC Phosphates Company and governmental clients such as Tampa Bay Water. Mr. Forziano has extensive experience regarding: construction claims and disputes; contract negotiation and drafting; developments of regional impact; due diligence for the purchase and sale of potentially contaminated sites; environmental permitting; regulatory compliance; rule making; rule challenges; vested development rights; water use permitting and zoning.

Notably, Mr. Forziano represented Hillsborough County regarding the creation of Tampa Bay Water, the region’s water supply authority, and a related agreement through which the Southwest Florida Water Management District agreed to provide $183 million for the development of alternative water supply sources to meet the potable water needs of the Tampa Bay region.

In addition to his duties as an attorney, Mr. Forziano served two terms as chairman of the Hillsborough County Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee. Dave Forziano was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he currently resides with his wife and children.
