Gary Walker is a graduate of Delta State University (B.A. 1972 with Honors), Florida State University (M.S. 1975 with Honors; J.D. 1978 with Honors). He is rated AV by the Martindale-Hubble Law Directory.

Mr. Walker was admitted to practice in Florida in 1978, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Walker's practice focuses on representing healthcare organizations and providers in corporate, regulatory and operational matters. He has extensive experience in medical practice formation and governance; mergers, acquisitions and affiliations; employment and other corporate agreements; managed care and provider contract negotiation; fraud and abuse prevention; regulatory compliance; licensure and certification; Medicare and Medicaid certification, reimbursement and audits; and professional staff issues.

Mr. Walker served on the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar, as Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA), and as Chair of the HCBA Health Law Section. He also is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association Health Law Section, Florida Academy of Health Care Attorneys, and the Corporate Section and Health Law Section of The Florida Bar. In addition, he serves as President of the Board of Directors of Bay Area Legal Services.

Mr. Walker is listed in Florida Super Lawyers in Health Law, and was listed as one of Florida Trend's Legal Elite in the area of Health Law.
