Melissa A. Mora was born in Smithtown, New York. Ms. Mora is a graduate of the University of South Florida (B.A. 2002) and a graduate of the Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 2006).

Ms. Mora served as the ABA Law Student Division 5th Circuit Governor (2005-2006) and as the ABA Law Student Division Public Service Chair while attending Stetson College of Law. Ms. Mora was a recipient of the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.

Ms. Mora currently serves as a member on the Board for the Young Lawyers Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and previously served as a Chair for the Hillsborough County Young Lawyers Division Youth Projects Committee.  She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.  Ms. Mora was a member of the Tampa Connection class of 2007-2008.

Ms. Mora was admitted to practice in Florida in 2006 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  Ms. Mora focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, corporate law, and variety of health care matters.
