Michelle G. Hutt is a Florida native. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida (B.A. 2002) and of Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 2006), and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007.
Ms. Hutt concentrates her practice in family law matters, including, dissolution of marriage, domestic violence, paternity actions, step-parent adoptions, child support, post judgment matters, modifications and enforcement proceedings. Ms. Hutt has been practicing since 2007. Prior to becoming an attorney, she had approximately eight years of experience in the legal field as a legal assistant and paralegal.
In addition to family law, Ms. Hutt’s background includes work in bankruptcy law and personal injury law. Ms. Hutt also has knowledge and experience in handling military dissolution of marriages and how military procedures can affect divorce cases.
Ms. Hutt is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and has been a member of the Family Law Inns of Court for two years. Ms. Hutt is a past member of the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers, The Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and the Florida Justice Association.
Ms. Hutt enjoys being involved in her community and often volunteers at her children’s school and local church. Outside of the legal practice Ms. Hutt devotes her time and energy to her husband, her children and their dog, Riley.
Ms. Hutt is fluent in Spanish.
