Our estate planning group also routinely drafts, reviews and executes the following documents for their clients:
In addition, our lawyers can also ensure that your loved ones are protected by establishing guardianship arrangements for your children and setting aside money in a variety of different trusts for their education.
The group's attorneys work closely with clients to determine how to best incorporate their personal wishes into their estate plan. To do so, our lawyers thoroughly analyze your estate and strategize the best means of transferring your assets and minimizing tax consequences. No matter what level of income you earn, our attorneys can help you develop a plan that works for you and your family.
When a person dies owning assets in their own name a proceeding called a probate is required. In probate the Personal Representative administers the estate which includes paying debts, paying taxes, with the balance of the estate distributed to their beneficiaries, or, if there is no will, heirs that take by intestate succession.
Our attorneys assist the Personal Representative through all steps of the process, including filing wills in court, valuating the estate and setting up instruments to ensure future financial stability. Our lawyers also have extensive experience litigating probate disputes. We have helped many clients defend valid wills against improper assertions brought by fellow beneficiaries, as well as challenge wills whose validity is questionable.
Committed to excellence. Dedicated to results.
